Town Hall

Located in the heart of the Town Centre the Town Hall offers a Chamber Room and Committee Room which are perfect to host a small meeting or larger conference, a wedding or civil ceremony, a wake, a birthday tea party, a naming ceremony, an exhibition and more. Each room is full of its own character.

The Town Hall has a ramp into the ground floor of the building, a stair lift and disabled toilet facilities. Please view our Town Hall pages for more information and how to book.

Main Chamber

The Main Chamber has a regal splendor with wood paneling and the walls are adorned with portraits and commemorative boards, listing all the Mayor’s of Wallingford since 1231 to the present day.  The Chamber has delightful views over the historic market place.

The room can comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests

The Committee Room

The Committee Room has the perfect ambience for smaller and more intimate functions such as meetings and presentations or even a birthday afternoon tea party.

The room can accommodate up to 20 guests and like the Main Chamber, displays artifacts of Wallingford’s impressive history, including the town mace, dated 1650 which is said to have been copied for the mace of the House of Commons.

Castle Garden's

Our Castle Garden’s offer a fantastic backdrop for photograph’s, whether for wedding photo’s, a family get-together, or even a birthday celebration.

Photo’s can be taken in front of our romantic crumbling ruins of Wallingford Castle which was one of the most important and biggest Castles in England.
