Charges for Council Facilities

Market (VAT Exempt)

Charter Market – £1.60 per foot frontage (minimum charge £16.00) per stall, per week.

Independent /Local Producers / Country Markets  – £12 per stall

Costa Coffee (£100.00) per week for a period of 6 months

 

Weddings in the Town Hall

• Two-hour wedding at £475 plus VAT

Additional costs above a 2 hour wedding:

• Reception –Additional Hire Cost £250 plus VAT

If Canapés are required in addition to the above – Please contact our Events Manager to discuss further.

 

Other Events in the Town Hall

Minimum hire charge up to three hours.

Main Chamber : £295.00 plus VAT. Additional hour £50.00 plus VAT per hour.

Committee Room : £250.00 plus VAT. Additional hour £30.00 plus VAT per hour.

Plus £15 per hour, per additional members of staff.

Concessional hire charge rate :

To qualify for concessional hire charge rate, please see the attached policy.

£30.00 plus VAT flat rate charge per hour.

Minimum hire charge 2 hours.

NB: Concessional Rates at the discretion of the Town Clerk

Deposit required but charges below:

Showmen’s Guild (Michaelmas Fair)  £1,815.00 plus cost of skip hire

Other Fairs  £535.00 plus cost of skip hire

River Moorings

Overnight  Summer Mooring (1^st March to 31^st October)

• Boats less than 5 metres £6.00
• Boats more than 5 metres £12.00
