Discover the beauty of Wallingford and surrounding areas on foot

Explore the history of the town and take in the beautiful South Oxfordshire countryside in Wallingford.

The Oxfordshire Countryside Access Map is an interactive service that shows public rights of way, open access land and some of the best walks and cycle rides in the area. This can be viewed on the Oxfordshire County Council Website.

There are four self guided walking tours, click on an image below to download details for each walk.

Guided Town Walks

Town Walks – you do not need to pre-book, turn up on Saturday at 11am under the Town Hall. Adults £10 and children free.

Historical Tours (of either Town or Castle) – can be booked via the Wallingford Museum website. Tour groups meet under the Town Hall and are in group size of no more than 6 people. Cost is £10 per head and the tour lasts for 90-120 minutes. Visit the Wallingford Museum Website for more information.
