To resolve that the minutes from the meeting of the Personnel Committee on the 8th November 2021 as set out on pages 116-121 are a true and accurate record of that meeting, and authorise the Chairman to sign them as such
It was proposed by Councillor Kidley, seconded by Councillor Keats-Rohan and RESOLVED THAT the minutes from the meeting of the Personnel Committee on the 8th November 2021 are a true and accurate record of that meeting, and that the Chairman is authorised to sign them as such

596/21. UPDATE ON ADVERTISED ROLE
Town Clerk/RFO to give an update
The Town Clerk/RFO updated members on the progress of the currently advertised Community, Business & Tourism Development Officer confirming the closing date was 28th February 2022 and interviews were due to commence week beginning 7th March 2022. Members noted two applicants had applied to date
597/21. STAFF TRAINING
Town Clerk/RFO to give an update
The Town Clerk/RFO updated members on all ongoing and completed courses that staff members had attended to date of which included the following:
CILCA, Internal Controls, VAT, ILCA, Water Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessments, Appraisals/Disciplinary and London Bridge
598/21. DISCIPLINARY/APPEAL PANEL-WTC
Following the resolution from Full Council on the 10th January 2022, minuted at 473/21 on pages 174-175, Members to appoint three Members of the Personnel Committee to sit on a Disciplinary Panel, and appoint three Members of Council outside of the Personnel Committee to sit upon an Appeal Panel
i) Members to appoint three Members of the Personnel Committee to sit on a Disciplinary Panel
RESOLUTION REQUIRED
It was proposed by Councillor Keats-Rohan, seconded by Councillor Whelan and RESOLVED THAT Councillor Beauchamp as Chair of Personnel, Councillor Lester and Councillor Kidley be appointed as the three members from the Personnel Committee to sit on the Disciplinary Panel. Members also voted for the continuation of the municipal Chair of the Personnel committee to be appointed annually to sit upon this panel, along with two further committee members. Members to be appointed in line with the Mayoral year
ii) Members to discuss the appointment of three Members of Council outside of the Personnel Committee to sit upon an Appeal Panel
It was proposed by Councillor Kidley, seconded by Councillor Hendrie and RECOMMENDED THAT the Municipal Mayor be appointed to sit upon the Appeal Panel along with two other members of the Council. Members to vote on appointment of two additional members for the Appeal Panel at the next Full Council meeting
