It was proposed by Councillor Kidley, and seconded by Councillor Hendrie, and RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 13 February 2023 be approved as a correct record and the Charman is authorised to sign them

629/22     ACTIONS FROM PREVIOUS MEETING

The Committee reviewed progress on the actions agreed at the last meeting and uncompleted actions from previous meetings.

630/22     PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

One resident spoke in support of his application giving a broader overview of the work he was undertaking at his property which had recently been the subject of multiple applications.  He also explained the challenges that many owners of listed buildings faced, especially in relation to insulation in the context of climate change.

Members expressed sympathy with some of the views expressed, but explained that planning committees had to work within a defined legislative framework and also that heritage authorities such as Historic England increasingly recognised the challenges for owners of historic buildings that climate change presented.
