We are deeply saddened to learn that His Royal Highness Prince Phillip The Duke of Edinburgh passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle.

The Council wishes to express its sincere condolences to Her Majesty The Queen and the members of the Royal family at this very difficult time.  

We extend those condolences to everybody touched by this sad and solemn occasion and we join the people of the United Kingdom in this period of mourning. 

In accordance with protocol and as a mark of respect the Union Flag will be flown at half- mast on the Town Hall.

Due to current Covid-19 regulations, Wallingford Town Council will not be using physical Condolence Books. Instead, we are encouraging all to 'sign' the official electronic version available at :
