Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Rose planting in the Castle Gardens (Saturday 4th June)
Roses will be planted in the Castle Gardens to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Some Roses have already be planted and 3 are saved to be planted on Saturday 4th June at 3pm by the Mayor of Wallingford – for the High Steward award winners for the last two years. We also have the Mayor of Luxeuil-les-Bains, Frederic Burghard, one of our twinned towns coming over for the Jubilee weekend and will plant a rose called ‘Elizabeth’ to commemorate the visit.
Please do come along to the Castle Gardens to watch this event.
We hope you enjoy the new Roses.
