If you are one of those affected, remember ; the gas or electricity supply won’t be interrupted, so do not worry. Ofgem, the industry regulator, will move you to a new supplier, which usually takes a few weeks. Wait for your new supplier to contact you and explain what will happen. But contact the new supplier yourself if you have not heard from them within two weeks.
