After a very mixed April weather-wise and we have now passed Easter and the celebrations associated with it. Schools have gone back for their summer term.

As we approach May I am sure we are ready to welcome our long awaited Summer and the longer evenings.  Now is the time for some pleasant evening and weekend strolls, maybe catching sight of the bluebells which abound in our area.

The whole of our County is preparing to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next month.  Do ensure you diarise our local events and join in the fun.

The Town Information Centre will have information on what will be happening in our area.

Wallingford is welcoming quite a number of visitors to our town and we are proud to be able to offer them advice as to what to see and do in our local area, including how to get there.  If you have visitors this summer do ask them to pop in for ideas.

We also have many items of new local merchandise on sale including prints and books by local authors.

A reminder also to local clubs and organisations that we have available space to advertise your summer fetes and events.  It’s free and all we require is 2 A4 posters for our display window.
