Minutes Officer

Salary: SCP (£25,481 pro-rata), 25 hours per week flexible

Wallingford Town Council are looking to recruit a meetings officer to compile the agendas and minutes for all Council and Committee meetings acting as centre of competence and lead administrator for the management of meetings, ensuring effective agenda formation, complete meeting organisation and effective minute taking.

The ideal candidate will be required to attend all meetings of the Council and its standing Committees, being directly responsible for producing the agendas and minutes for those meetings and ensuring appropriate cover is met for all meetings required by the Council.

The role requires excellent working relationships to be maintained with other members of staff, elected Members, other Councils, local organisations, groups and community members.

Hours will be flexible but must include all Council and Committee meetings (Monday and some Wednesday evenings from 7pm)
