In attendance: The Mayor, Councillor Harris, Councillors Holder, Keats-Rohan, Lester
117/21.ELECTION OF A CHAIRMAN AND VICE CHAIRMAN
It was proposed by Mayor Councillor Harris, seconded by Councillor Lester and RESOLVED THAT Councillor Holder take on the role of Chairman of the Parks, Gardens, Allotments and Open Spaces Committee for the 2021 – 22 Municipal Year
It was also Proposed by Mayor Councillor Harris, seconded by Councillor Holder and RESOLVED THAT Councillor Lester take on the role of Vice Chairman of the Parks, Gardens, Allotments and Open Spaces Committee for the 2021 – 22 Municipal Year
The Town Clerk/RFO and Councillors wished to thank Councillor Kidley for his time as Chairman

120/21.PARKS, GARDENS, ALLOTMENTS AND OPEN SPACES MINUTES
To resolve that the minutes from the meeting of the Parks, Gardens, Allotments and Open Spaces Committee held on the 23rd April 2021 are a true and accurate record of the meeting, and authorise the chairman to sign them as such
It was proposed by Councillor Lester, seconded by Councillor Keats-Rohan and RESOLVED THAT these minutes are a true and accurate record of the meeting, and the Chairman is authorised to sign them
121/21.PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – NOTIFIED AND IMPROMPTU 15 MINUTES IN TOTAL)
There were no members of public present
122/21.COACH AND HORSES- USE OF THE KINECROFT
It was proposed by Councillor Lester, seconded by The Mayor Councillor Harris and RESOLVED THAT the retrospective extension of the agreement between Wallingford Town Council and the Landlord of the Coach and Horses regarding use of the Kinecroft be given until 19th September 2021 and which point the agreement ends and conditions revert back to pre-COVID
123/21.THANKS FROM COUNCILLOR D. WHELAN
Councillors noted thanks to Parks teams for their wonderful flower displays again this year
124/21.TREE SURVEY
The Town clerk reported that following the survey, the works of high level risk had been completed, the works of medium level now need to be actioned.
It was proposed by Councillor Lester and seconded by Councillor Keats- Rohan and RESOLVED THAT the following the surveys the medium level risk tree works be carried out
125/21.SENIOR OFFICER TO GIVE ALLOTMENT UPDATE
- Mrs Collins reported that there was now 32 people on the waiting list and continually growing, 3 would be allocated soon which would leave 29
- There was no more information with regard to Site B and the potential for new allotments
- The WAGS Show (Wallingford, Allotments and Gardens Society) would take place on the 11th September the office would put some dates out for Councillors to meet at the allotments and decide on the trophy winner
