This is a full-time position for an initial One-year contract.
Wallingford Town Council is looking for a highly skilled, passionate and forward-thinking Estates Officer who has building/surveyor with Heritage experience, together with Financial, Project Management and supervisory skills.
The Town Council are custodians of a unique estate comprising three heritage parks, schedule monuments, a number of commercial properties and an iconic 17th Century Town Hall.
The Estates Officer will manage this estate on behalf of the Council, ensuring compliance with Town & Country Planning, Listed Building and Heritage legislation, and create a portfolio of remedial work requirements and Health and Safety requirements to support financial and project planning.

You will be part of a busy Town Council Team reporting to the Town Clerk and have a flexible approach to working remotely, office based and on site.
